Consultant – Counter‑Trafficking Training Package Design & Delivery

About the role
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Category B Consultant to co‑design and deliver a competency‑based training package on counter‑trafficking. The assignment will combine analytical work, curriculum development and in‑person facilitation in Majuro and Ebeye, supporting frontline agencies to identify and respond to trafficking cases in a victim‑centred, gender‑responsive and disability‑inclusive manner.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the co‑design of a standardized training curriculum and supporting materials aligned with RMI SOPs and international standards.
- Deliver in‑person training workshops for frontline agencies in Majuro and Ebeye.
- Conduct on‑site orientation sessions at points of entry to reinforce practical response procedures.
- Incorporate victim‑centred, gender‑responsive and disability‑inclusive approaches throughout the training content.
- Collaborate closely with the National Taskforce on Human Trafficking, national ministries, IOM staff and civil‑society partners.
- Validate training materials with stakeholders and produce a final training package for rollout in Years 2‑3.
Required profile
- University degree (Master’s preferred) in law, criminal justice, human rights, social work, international relations or a related field.
- Proven experience designing and delivering training on counter‑trafficking, migration or related protection topics.
- Demonstrated knowledge of trafficking‑in‑persons dynamics, gender‑responsiveness and disability inclusion.
- Experience working with frontline agencies and government stakeholders in a multicultural context.
- Fluency in English and ability to work effectively in the Marshall Islands.
